Leigh aka leighjcm: I absolutely loved the last scenes of Skins series 4. I have to go with two favorite moments- first is Naomi entering the party with her soul bared, telling Emily how long she's loved her and why she's done all the horrible things she's done. Along the same line, Cook's last scene when he goes for Freddie's killer is intense! We see Cook for the smart and loyal person he pretends not to be.

Skins the Novel Giveaway

We are very excited to have out first ever Giveaway on Skins Canada. The wonderful people at Hachette Book Group have sent over copies of the Skins novel to give away to our readers. The novel follows the gang from the 3rd and 4th series of skins over their college summer break. The book is a great read and I know you have missed the old gang.

Its finally here!! Its been a long time coming but its back.
Summary: The award-winning drama is back for a fifth series following the lives of eight teenagers in Bristol. There are eight new friends, four boys: Nick, Rich, Alo, Matty and four girls: Franky, Liv, Mini and Grace. Franky starts at Roundview and is determined not to be a loner and things seem to be going well until she accidentally challenges Mini’s position as queen bee and when she doesn’t conform to Mini’s expectations, she’s spat out. Franky then meets Matty who understands and empowers her giving her the strength to stand up to Mini. Grace admires Franky, and a new gang is formed with Alo, Rich and Grace. Franky has finally found friends, but in doing so has started a war with Mini.

So I read today that the co-creator of skins, Jamie Brittain, confirmed on Twitter that if Skins 5 is made, they will hold open auditions for a new cast.

'To clarify. Skins will hopefully have a fifth series, but we have not yet been re-commissioned. It will have a new cast. We will hold open auditions to cast it. I don’t know any details beyond that. We’re still working on series 4!'

Tony makes plans for Sid to lose his virginity at Abigail's party. However, Sid ends up buying 300 of drugs, which they must somehow pay back. At the party, Sid gets chatting to Cassie, but she soon overdoses on sleeping pills. She recovers on the way to the hospital, but the gang manage to crash Abgail's dad's car into the harbour.
